Symposium 1

2023 The International Symposium on Mathematical and Mechanical Problems in theDevelopment of Low-carbon Energy

The2023 The International Symposium on Mathematical and Mechanical Problems in the Development of Low-carbon Energy (ISMMPDLCE 2023) is scheduled to be held in Shanghai on November 22-24,2023. The seminar was hosted by the Professional Committee of Low Carbon Energy Rock mechanics and Engineering, Chinese Societyof Rock Mechanics and Engineering, and jointly organized by China University of Petroleum (Beijing), China University of Mining and Technology and Institute of Rock and Soil Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. To enhance itsinternational influence, the Symposium will be held jointly with the 2023 TheInternational Conference on Mathematical Analysis, Applications andComputational Simulation (ICMAACS 2023) .

The theme ofthis Symposium is "Development Opportunities and Challenges of Low-carbon Energy under the Background of Double Carbon". In the face of thecontradiction between global climate change and energy supply, countries aroundthe world have taken low-carbon energy such as unconventional oil and gas, geothermal energy, nuclear energy, wind energy and solar energy as the mainforce to promote economic transformation and energy structure adjustment. Thedevelopment of low-carbon energy involves gas, liquid, solid heterogeneous substances and multi-field coupling problems such as stress, heat transfer, flow and chemistry. Among them, the development of mathematics and mechanics isnot only the basis for solving the complex and common problems involved in thedevelopment of low-carbon energy, but also the driving force to promote thedevelopment and innovation of related technologies. The international Symposiumaims to report the latest research progress in mathematics and mechanics inlow-carbon energy development, discuss the major scientific problems inlow-carbon energy development, and promote the progress of low-carbon energy development industry.

The Symposiumaims to invite experts, scholars and researchers in related fields to summarizeand exchange the latest research progress and research methods centering on themathematical mechanics problems in the development of low-carbon energy, and toprovide a communication platform for researchers engaged in related theoreticalresearch, numerical computing, software development, digital measurement andartificial intelligence.
